Meditation Migraines

Hi all. I joined the group about 4-5 years ago and dedicated, but shortly after fell into the grip of addiction. I've recently begun recovering, 50-some odd days sober, and since I've regaining some mental clarity I've started thinking about spirituality more and more. I remembered the outline of a meditation I think I saw around here somewhere, involved imagining a blue energy encompassing your body and breathing it in. Well, I was doing that, breathing it in and breathing out this cloudy, smokelike grayness. I started to feel this energy buzzing all through my body and this kind of connection to something I couldn't quite identify. I only did this for about 15 minutes before bed, but when I woke up in the morning I had a terrible migraine, the pain centered just above my left eye. It kept going for 4 days. Needless to say I kept away from that meditation for a while. After the ache had been gone for maybe a week I attempted the meditation again last night, just for a couple of minutes. Woke up today with the same pain. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
