I'm asking because on step three it doesn't specify how many times you should do it. I'm guessing six as you did with the above on step one but I want to be absolutely sure so I'm not doing something unessecary or something that could mess up the meditation.

No no. Step 3 as in the breathing. It's a version of the alternate nostril. Drawing energy up to your 6th/pineal, holding your breath for 6, dropping it back down. etc.You do 6 rounds of breathing on step 1. 
Do you do the same number of rounds of breathing on step 3?

  Make sense doing the same number of rounds, as we can see, the steps 1 and 2 are the alternate-nostril and 108 on the chakra respectilvely, and it is repeated in the steps 3 and 4, but with the 666 chakra, so it must have the same numbers for each part to maintain it in balance I guess, anyway I don't believe to be a waste of time doing the same nº of repetitions. The meditation will work anyway.
