Finally listened to one of HP Pythia's MP3's on it. Well, close to the mark. My R rolling needs work and I don't roll gutturally. The sound hits the back of the throat but doesn't sound as..idk, "fancy" for lack of a better word. My throat stays drier than that though.Pretty much, do as close as we can, so long as we're getting something out there, right? Use to be able to roll R's well, but during vibration is different. Also the MP3 is spoken, so vibrating will be different. Still, got the "yayn" part answered..

Just do the best we can with the ritual prononciations?

You only have to do it how Pythia does it In the mp3. R's are always to be rolled unless directed to vibrate in English. Now guttural is when we partially block off the glottis and the vibration is made In the back of the throat. HPS Pythia'''s great example of this is to Do it like your hacking up spit but making a k sound or whatever. Guttural words are like ahk ayk and words with ky and other syllables that are supposed to be pronounced like that. Many of the other words are guturall but can be pronounced with no sweat.
like she says listen and practice as many times as you need then just do the best you can.
