Here is a major update to this project.
It now also contains an arcade room, a cinema and a "dark ride" with the theme of the Inquisition.
New models have been added as well as new sounds and more dynamic lightning.

I played your game and enjoyed it very much. Also I liked that it is in retro style.
I look forward to more updates :D

Nice to see it worked for you. It's been fun creating this and I've learned a lot of new things.

Yes, definitely. Some of my favorite games are retro ones.

Yes, definitely. Some of my favorite games are retro ones.

When I was a very young child I remember that my brother played on a Pegasus console.

My "childhood game" was definitely Minecraft

By the way, it would be possible to do this same project on a minecraft server with mods.

Maybe in the past it would have been possible to do something like this, but the current Minecraft is owned by Microsoft and this could be dangerous.

It won't be dangerous until you don't make it public whit a Satanic lable.
If we publish it we do it in a virtualbox with vpn, and with no personal accounts.

The only way they can spy on this if they get the world's source code and search for keyword like government, Satan, ect.
As teh source code contains what is in different books, or signs. I don't think they go that far, and I would use Tlauncher not the official launcher. Tho this does not mean that T launcher is more secure, I have to do research and read their terms.

Tho its not a hard think do make a virtual box, or a usb OS, and it has to be secure that way.

I'm all for that idea, but think it would be better and more interesting to create something entirely new in that case.

I originally had an idea of creating an alternative ride to "The Inquisition Ride", with the theme of the Gods instead.
This one would had been in a much slower pace, with images (and preferably also sculptures) depicting our Gods.

Since I don't know how to do 3D models That well, and since the cache size of this project became fully used up, it will have to be a separate project. In this project it became a cinema instead.

Now that I've said this, anyone is free to create "The Ride of the Gods" in Minecraft, Mapster32 or whatever. Unreal Engine would probably be the most impressive alternative (my favorite game Dishonored is made in Unreal Engine).
Don't forget it was my idea though :)

This is AMAZING!!! You are doing an awesome job with this. 😀👹
It's really great that people here appreciate this kind of work. Makes me motivated to do more.

I've been thinking about perhaps even making a Mapster32 tutorial and post it here, as it's very fun and easy to work with.
Only if there is interest for it though.

Creating ones own world in 3D feels a bit Godlike, and that's why I've always loved Mapster32, which is based upon the BUILD engine by Ken Silverman. Not much people seem to be using it these days, but to me that's also kind of a reason to use it, since it's more unique that way.

Absolutely!

This is really cool! I can relate to the OP here about making Satanic Stuff digitally or in video games etc. I’ve built a whole SS world in the Sims and I also have this project on Soul Calibur VI making the Gods as fighters. I’d love to post some photos but I’m not yet sure how to post pictures here.

Absolutely!

Now having thought about it; since there already exists many many useful tutorials like this one:

And the fact that Mapster32 literally has it's own Wikipedia:

https://wiki.eduke32.com/wiki/Level_editing
https://wiki.eduke32.com/wiki/Build/Mapster32_Keyboard_Commands

I think it should be sufficient with that :)

But feel free to ask any questions.

Too advanced to begin with perhaps but useful to know later on:

This page is useful for finding out names of sounds (and nr) to replace, thus adding your own sounds into a project:
https://infosuite.duke4.net/index.php?page=references_sound_list

For example, place a soundfile named "ONBOARD.VOC" (you can find WAV to VOC converters online) into the eduke32 folder in order to replace the original sound for "ENGINE_OPERATING".

Then in Mapster32, place a "M" (music and sound sprite) inside a sector, give it a lo-tag of 84 (alt+T) which is the specific nr for that sound in the list, and a hi-tag (alt+H) defining the scale of this sound.

The "S" sprite is a "sectoreffector" sprite with many purposes, like creating doors, rotating sectors etc.
But I won't go into that or any advanced things. Understand the basics first and go on from there.
