Positive attitudes, thoughts, and expectations mean positive results right? Apparently not in my case. Ironically, 9 times out of 10, unless the results are fixed or guarenteed, whenever I approach a situation with a negative attitude, i.e. "I'm gonna fail miserably and I'm screwed", I end up doing great, often times regardless of how slim the chances of success are. When I go in with an optimistic outlook and expectations, I often fail miserably, or don't do nearly as well as I had planned. It's kind of like that book "The Secret", but reversed. Ironically, again, when I go in with a neutral viewpoint, i.e. doing it as more of a learning experience or not really expecting much of anything to occur, things usually go in my favor. Often times, I think this is just due to overconfidence and it's the Universe's way of trying to teach me humility, not to stress over everything, don't expect more than you're capable of, etc., but sometimes I wonder if the xians don't have something to do with it, or if it's a problem with my chakras, or something like that. I've asked Thoth and he told me that he has in fact done this to me on a few occasions as a type of "teaching method" and, for the most part, I'm getting the gist of what he's trying to tell me, as often times, according to him, I have a tendency to learn through experience and usually disregard certain things, especially if they're educational, when I'm told directly (damn ADD).
However, he's told me that this isn't always the case, as in he's not always the one doing this, and that he, being the workaholic he is, can't help me too much on the exceptions; he said that perhaps another demon, somebody in the JOS, etc. might be able to give me a little more insight on this issue. So, can I have some advice, preferably by someone who has the same problem? Is this a spiritual issue, the times when Thoth isn't trying to teach me something, enemy ET's, just plain bad, or apparently good, luck, or what?

to my eyes, it looks as though its just another issue of having a certain set of thoughts in your head, mostly ones of irony. you obviously believe what you just said.... so think about it XD

I feel you there. Totally understand. I mite be sort of out of it had not had my coffee yet. I'm nocternal most of the time. Well I will shair my experience as best as I can. Some times when I do affirmations nothing happens just for my physical body, but when I want money or to get rich or some sort of matter with money it doesn't happen.
Haties tells me to stay cool and everything will work out. There were times when I first started in Satanism that I was depressed as I just broke up with a gf and another and I always asked him if there was a way to fix it. He never answered me and just told me I would be fine, it was his way of teaching me there is better out there. I thank him every or mostly every chance I get for Amanda. It's sort of funny I don't think I would of really tapped into the dom in me. After getting dumped twice and moving on and doing some self meditations and talking to friends I came to the conclution that I was a dom and I need a slave, I am that kind of person. In fact many demons are as well. Just like humans Demons have preferences and change the way they do things. I don't think it's Thoght all the time doing it because like Father he is very busy. Some times instead of Father Lilift will step in. As for the whole bad luck factor I have felt the last six years that I haven't had a break. I just moved to Alabama have an idiot Christian sotail worker and I want to go home. I had no choice in the matter. I was not always happy where I lived in New York but I was at least the kind of person who got a good day every now and then and nothing fucked it up. Now I bearly get them at all. Lately It's been just ok and my gf/sub has been helping make the days better but if not for her I would be streighth up miserable.
I think what is causing our luck to be shit is Chackras, material and balance. There needs to be some sort of balance in life. I don't agree with every single Satanist or every Satanic view of one person but one thing I agree with most on is that you need balance. Unfortunately for most people in this realm you need money to do anything or go anywhere.
That is my issue. Your issue is making things you want to happen sort of the same boat.
