Is this Energy I'm seeing or something else?

Ok, so I recently started medetating( energy and trance) and sometimes see the effect of flickering lights (it seems that the lights are flickering but its in my head). So Is this Energy?
And by the way, I haven't been sleeping well latley because I usually stay up late and stuff, so is there a chance this can be the problem also?

Look,as you sleep,its not gives the meaning that ur body gets power again.Its just because the knowing of light and dark.And yes, what you saw is energy rising power.Its happened to me either.Keep meditating until youll see this energy clearly as u see with ur eyes open.
