Is This A Proper Way Of Viewing It?

First and foremost, I want to say that the quality of my life has improved gradually since I decided to become a part of Satan's team. Funny thing is, I made the choice a month ago. And since then, lots of good things have happened. Thanks to Father Satan for making his presence known.

The reason for posting this topic is this:
Since I've been following the teachings of Satan, people have asked me the question --- do you worship Satan? My answer is always, "No, I don't worship Satan." They reply, "if you're a Spiritual Satanist, then how aren't you worshipping him?" In response to that, I always tell them that you only worship people that you feel inferior to, or people that you feel you are beneath. With Father Satan, I don't feel that way. I see Satan as a teacher or a father figure. The whole idea behind following Satan, in my opinion, is to become as knowledgeable as you can and improve yourself and your life. I feel that Satan wants us to become Gods of men (and women). The same way I would shadow a great instructor to become as great as he is, or close to it, that's the way I view following Satan. To me, that isn't worshipping. Not to sound crazy or anything, but as I type this, there's a voice in my head that says, "you don't worship me, you learn from me."

I'm often told that my view makes no sense. But of course it wouldn't make sense when their "God" wants them to live 95% of their lives on their knees.

Anyways...am I viewing our relationship with Satan the right way? If I have the wrong idea, then please correct me.

Derric, you're right. I say something simillar, that because Satan is a true friend and cares about us, He doesn't need worship. Worship implies slavery, not friendship and in Spiritual Satanism Satan is nothing more than a friend and teacher.

In the JoS site, its mentioned that worship is a CODE WORD for chanting a mantra/stating an affirmation/meditating on a yantra. It isn't slavish groveling upon a diety.
