Is it okay to use sigil to talk to a God?

Greetings💋
I wanted to talk with a God telepathically, so I softly visualised his sigil and gently chanted his name two or three times to connect, without any intention of summoning him. But then he started giving me signs that he was present… and now I’m wondering 🥺
Did I actually summon him without meaning to?
Or did he choose to come by his own will?

You generally visualise their sigil or focus on the God you want to speak with, what you felt is normal and their way of saying "I'm listening". :)

By focusing on a sigil or even thinking of a certain God or Deamon, we telepathically connect with them (given we are open enough) and that allows us to have a line of communication even without a evocation or invocation ritual.

In your case you might be naturally more open, and you could sense His/Her presence more easily. Just like Lightning_Puma said, what you experienced is the God or Deamon showing you that they are listening and are present.

Read this: https://templeofzeus.org/DEMONOLATRY.php

This is copy-paste from ToZ website: "After a relationship is established, just concentrating on and contacting him/her telepathically, with or without his/her sigil, should be enough for him/her to show up anywhere or at any time, provided you are extremely respectful and never demanding. Sometimes a Daemon won't show up if he/she has a reason but will appear later. *When summoning an unfamiliar Daemon, you should always perform a ritual."
