Invoking elements, but...

I've been invoking fire and water to keep warm and cool when convenient and also to familiarize more with using the elements, but I have a concern that perhaps some members might be able to help in clarifying.

How might one use these elements to control their physical body's temperature without actually raising the element in their soul? For example, I love heat, I'm obsessed with being warm all the time, but I already have excessive fire element, the only reason I'm cold all the time is due to my Saturn. I love fire, I truly adore it, but when using the element to keep warm I don't want to bring my already-high fire element even higher. I've experimented in combination with water, but all I end up getting is this icy-hot sensation.

I've tried the idea of evoking fire and just surrounding the outside of myself in the element or more focus on my physical skin or general exterior, but it still kind of feels like it's being taken into my actual soul. Perhaps I'm just not doing it properly or am misinterpreting the sensation... but anybody with experience/knowledge in using the elements, information would be appreciated.

You get warmer clothes....

Do the heat meditation from the main site instead of invocation. Doing it enough will permanently raise your body temperature.

Just practice feeling the element. You don't get more proficient at an element by flooding your soul with it, but rather by closely working with it and getting a really good feel for it. The better you can feel the element and connect to it, the better you can use and direct it.

This is what brings proficiency, and through this you can use the element for all sorts of things. You already have the element inside yourself, so for warming up all you need to do is to learn to direct and activate this, to circulate it properly throughout your body. You do not need to invoke additional fire in order to warm yourself up.

Having a blackbook helps tremendously as you can detailedly record your experience and feelings with the element and read it again later on to keep your memory of it sharp. This makes it much easier to get a good feel for the element.

A general rule is that, if you want to use the element internally, you do not need to invoke it (unless your soul has very little of it). If you want to use it externally, then it's advisable to invoke more fire first and then direct that fire outwards to where you want to apply it (for example setting something on fire). This ensures you do not "use up" any of your own fire. Arguably, evoking fire for this may work also, but I have never done that personally. Invoking it first and then directing it outward for me gives more control and allows me to feel the element much better (which helps with directing it).

For internal use of the fire element, look into the heat meditation that combines this with the power of the Kundalini to produce heat.

Huh, I think I've done this accidentally once. It was a strange kind of focus but it gave immense heat and warmth.

Thanks.
