Invoke/Evoke/Destruction Ritual?

I'm wondering here- in the Destruction Ritual your told to vent all the rage and hatred you hold for the target. Would that be invoking? You're essentially taking the negativity out of yourself, right? Would that create a tie to you?

Or, would that be something different?
I'm asking because someone posted about sending negative energy from sickness at someone else in a curse, and they were told that would create a tie to them. The concepts sound similar.

And I know the destruction ritual is safe for beginners, so what's going on there? Thank you for your help!

That would be evocation. Evocation as used in occult media tends to mean one of two things. In some cases it means the sending out of a force or forces from yourself, in others, the conjuring or summoning of a force.

In the destruction ritual you try to muster as much anger and hatred as you can. You should also then visualize this hated and anger as something. Visualizing it as a dark red stream tends to work quite well, as it is the color of blood.

As for creating a connection to yourself, yes, sometimes this does happen but not always. A method to combat the connection is to send the hatred and anger outside of yourself instead of directly to your enemies. In this way a connection is not formed between your chakras nor astral body and the target. Visualize the red stream leaving you and forming a dark red orb. After that affirm: "This energy will never come back or interact with me after the working."

Then send the energy at your enemy while affirming something to the effect that your enemies are dying or suffering.


Connections are just that energetic connections, like a string or stream. So, so you do not form a connection simply make sure the energy is not directed directly from you to your enemy, but rather from outside of yourself.


Furthermore, there are two kinds of so-called destructive energy. One, programmed energy. This is the energy you programmed or affected with your affirmation. This kind you do not have to generally worry about harming you, but safe is better than sorry. Second, there is actual destructive energy, like the energy taken from a cemetery. This is the energy you should be truly careful with and not form a connection with.
