If the interruption was short (1-2 minutes) you can just continue and finish it. Otherwise it's better to restart. As a rule of thumb it's okay to continue as long as you can still feel the energies of the ritual.

It really is not some huge problem. The important part is that you are doing it. So just do it. My opinion is you should continue and finish it. Then do it again, do it an extra time.
