When logging in, there is a yellow smiley face next to my address. The yellow smiley face indicates that someone is on their Yahoo Instant Messengers. As a result of this, I have had many friend requests.

Jewhoo has many glitches. I can assure EVERYONE that I do NOT have any instant messengers. Sorry to anyone who sent a friend request but didn't hear from me, but now you know why.

Actually you do, if you login to your yahoo web mail there is an built in instant messenger, so if anyone contacts you while u look through your mail u will have it up in the browser.
