Besides the "god" crap, is everything in the book initiation into hermetics true?

Everything except the parts where he pushes any sorts of morality and claims about karma. It should be read with the premise that magick is amoral and it doesn't contain any inherent morality on it's own nor any sort of punishment or reward system.

This is a good point. In reality Franz was a student of  Quintscher not the other way around. Franz's secretary wrote that Fabato book. Franz was surprised upon reading it. And from reports told her never to publish it. It was bizarre, fan fiction.
