Incense and candles

I’ve read that incense had been linked to lung damage and cancers and I want to knowing that’s true and how healthy it is to use it frequently and if it’s healthy for animals to breathe. I know certain scents are poisonous but are the fumes of incense and scented candles and oils harmful in general. Thanks. Hail Satan.
