I need help, muslim mystic is "praying" for me

<td val[/IMG]   I worked my balls off for four years, and now is the time I move on to graduate programs, but the problem is that my dad just recently told me that someone is doing "prayers" for me so I could get in. Once he told me that, I immediately knew who he was talking about, his friend's sister is a muslim 'mystic' (whatever the fuck that means). To put it bluntly, when I was 15, this lady tried to straighten my spine (had scoliosis) with some muslim hymns, prayers, and energy guidance. This was ridiculous of course, and now I am faced with the same ridiculousness again. Will this lady jinx me out of grad school? I just wanted to rely on my hard work and Satan's guidance, and now I feel like this muslim mystic is going to fuck everything up.

What do these prayers do exactly? and how do I work to repel them if they are a threat.
