How do I define, in simple terms, the moon being "void of course?"

I'm trying to understand astrology and this seems a basic term used often.

Imagine that the Moon in one month has to attend 12 different parties (zodiac signs). When the party animal enters the hall / the Moon enters a sign, it makes connections / aspects to people / planets. Some are positive / (sextiles, trines, conjunctions), others negative / (conjunction, square, opposition). But, since the person / the Moon has made contacts, she has to leave to attend another party. The lonely road, however long or short (from minutes to a day) is one without people / planets to connect. This lonely road is the void of course time. Until the party animal / the Moon again enters another party / sign, and so it goes.

Helpful? =]

its the gap between signs in which the moon becomes signess in moving from one sign to the other you can read way more about this on google or JoS

@magnum I don't believe I am. I've been reading up on it, though and - for some reason, I'm just struggling to understand what the words mean. Also, my chart confuses me too.

But, I have other strong points. I just feel as if Father Satan wants me to understand it, for reasons which aren't fully clear to me yet. So, I'm going to give it my best try.

He has never lead me astray before.

Thank you all for your answers. They really are helpful. It makes much more sense now.

Hail Father Satan!

There is no gap between zodiac signs.
a moon can't possibly be 'signess' lol

don't take my words for a fact.but a cercle 360° of 12 zodiac signs

will give prefectly 30° degree to each of the 12 signs
the void is between 27 degrees of one sign and 3 degrees into the next sign.

So, this moving from one sign to the next, it's when the moon moves through our sky from its orbit of Earth, right? Since, if I'm not mistaken, the houses  appear as a circle around our planet from our Earthly perspective?

Am I grasping this?
