Golden Sun, a classic RPG for the GBA and with a DS 3rd sequel, is literally loaded with an entire story based on Satanic allegories!
The sealing of alchemy being the cause of planetary decay and the slow death of civilization, the portrayal of priests as idiots, the 4 elements of alchemy being the foundation of all matter, all alchemy being based on these 4 elements and meditation, psionics being the control mechanism of alchemy, and most of all, numerous historical and geographical allegories!
The world map of Golden Sun itself is clearly IDENTICAL to Earth with only slight variations in continental position!
Even ATLANTIS is depicted as being south of Asia, though in GS it is called Lemuria.
Kolima forest in the northern Angara continent which represents Eurasia. East Angara is Russia and China and in GS3 the russian part becomes even more obvious with it's capital city being Belinsk, which is modeled after Moscow!
The golden sun and the power of light is also seen as almighty and the key to godhood and Alex manipulates everyone to attain it's power.
Now all the other allegories aside the fact they get the location of Atlantis as being south of Asia is proof enough in my opinion that the makers of this game know the true histories and the significance of alchemy and spiritual development as well as how they drive the growth of civilization and they even state as much in the story!
"In the golden age of prosperity civilizations THRIVED on alchemy. Yet, where is the world today? In your travels you have been to many cities and seen many cultures. Yet not a single one of them is capable of building the great temples and ruins you have thus far explored, correct?
I have come to conclude this is tied directly to the sealing of alchemy!"
"Knowledge from one generation is taken even further by the next. This is how the cycle and growth of civilization occur.
Yet now there is very little trace of the great civilizations of the ancient world and the great monuments they had built. As a result both the people and the world itself are waning. If this continues the world will wane and vanish altogether!"-derived from the revelations/conversation with King Hydros of Lemuria
I also think the Lemurian senators, specifically Conservato, are a blatant potshot at the jews, as all these men were greedy, lazy, arrogant bastards who vehemently opposed the freedom of alchemy and did nothing but hinder progress and even LOOKED like rabbis.
It is also probably the best handheld RPG series I've ever played and well worth it for the story and alchemical references.
