Hymn to Thor

The following is a short hymn/prayer to Thor I wrote for my Theurgy practice.
I share it in hopes others will find peace and strength in it as I do.


As with the distant rolling of thunder
Over far green hills,
Hear my hymn to you,
Brave-hearted Thor,
Murmured through my lips

The heavy beating of your sparking stone,
Echoes deeply in my chest,
Gifting my body with precious life,
And sweet sweat upon my crest

Now as your fiery light wrought from time forgotten,
Sings radiantly through my spirit,
Grant me strength and protection,
For I honour your mighty hammer swing,
And the hallowed ground you tread on the
Way to the Thing

Greet me at the crossroads of life,
Under blankets of dark grey clouds,
Usher me into the eye of the storm,
And reveal to me paths anew,
While still keeping me warm
