Good morning everyone!
I have a big question about "how to think in everyday life", especially when you are performing a spell or doing something to manifest a desire.
What I mean is, for example, when performing a spell, when visualizing or directing energy, you are guided to think in the present tense and feel as if you already have the desired item. From what I have read, this is due to the fact that the mind is both what it desires and what is desired.
But what about everyday life? I mean, when you do a spell for money, in your day to day life, at some point or another, a thought comes to you like "oh, if only I had x value", if I do a spell for love I involuntarily end up thinking "oh, if only this woman were in my life"; Paraphrasing the article "Reflections on magic and how to get what you want": "When you want to have more money, you reinforce the belief that you don't have enough. When you want to be loved, you reinforce the belief that you don't feel loved. When you want to be beautiful, you reinforce the belief that you are not beautiful."
So, what I'm saying is, is just thinking about the present and feeling the moment of the spell enough, or do these everyday thoughts end up getting in the way of the work?
If these thoughts can get in the way of the spell, what is the ideal? Is it to think in the correct way during the day (in the present and feeling the desired object)? To completely cut off the thought and try not to think about the problem or the desire (thought of wanting)?
