How should I proceed?

I've got this personal matter I'd like to discuss here, but I'd kindly ask some people to withhold their nasty comments to the tune of how moronic I am, etc. 
I've got a son who's got a 'best friend' around his age. This boy's presence is somehow irritating for me. He's seemingly not doing anything harmful, but I suspect him and his parents to be jewish or partly jewish and I always get this feeling he's plotting against me, or gaining my son's trust and love, even when I give signals I'm not fond of this 'friendship'. 
Why I believe so: apart from my hunch, so to say. His dad has got a peculiar job and he looks slightly jewish. His job is around the med service. He tried to help me once I was broke so I would sell my car at a greatly reduced price, actually a disservice. He tried to get me into one of the pseudo religions when he felt I was depressed after I'd lost my jewb . He claims to be protestant but at the same time he sent his son to the ruing catholic ceremonies. An ass licker to say the least. 
He feels like he's fake friend just to get intel and I sometimes told him to get off my son when he tried to show me he's a better dad. His son then reacted in a nasty manner and told other kids not to play with my son. Such a 'friend' he is. 
I can't really tell my son not to meet him. He'd be too lonely and he's got few children to play with. I'm not sure what to do. I get the feeling this kid is up to something. Maybe they're trying to antagonise my son and me. For sure they want my boy's trust and love.
