Basically, the aura is just the life force. Lessee, how can I explain
this? It's the visible part of our life force, that envelopes us.
Well, it's visible to those who can see it anyway. You have to
activate and work with your third eye to see auras. But even if
something isn't technically alive or animate, it still has an aura.
The electromagnetic field is what it is, in essence. Does that make
any sense to you? I hope so. Also, read this; it'll probably help more
than my explanation.

First off, dont stress yourself out. This happens to pretty much all of us. When I started out, the same thing happened, it stops when you make it stop. Amplifying your energy can correct pretty much all of this. Misfortunes can be caused from may things, one of the main things I know of is slacking off in meditations. Also, this sort of thing happens when the enemy wants you go the other way. 
This is an important time for you. Are you going run away or stand tall and fight with honor. Trust me, the Gods do not leave out to dry like other false religions. They will help if you simply ask, or even asking for guidance as I use to do when I was newer. I still ask for guidance to this day. 
Cleansing your aura, this has to be done consistently. I would say at least twice a day. Waking up and before go to sleep.
Empower your aura with white-gold energy, this is a reflective shield for negative energy. White being all purpose, balances the aura as all color emanates from white light. Gold is one of the most powerful of the colors.
