Hello, I'm new here

I'm absolutely intrigued. Every other group I've ever studied pretty much that claimed to be "Satanists" over the last decade or so (when I started studying world religions) I always found out that their core belief system was lacking, and in reality it was more of a club for people who basically just wanted attention. Like "look at me I'm a Satanist! be scared of me"! However, you guys seem like the real deal. The Joy Of Satan web page really got my attention, but at first glance here (no offense) some of the posts just seem like wish-washy new age Wiccans talking about all their runes and magic this and that.. I'm more interested in learning more about Satan himself, and more information based on the kind of stuff that the web page was talking about. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Btw, you guys get several big points with me for calling LaVeyans like they are. Attention seeking phonies. I'd appreciate any information you guys can offer about your beliefs.

That's an ignorant statement to make, the Wiccans and others actually stole the Runes and other things from us and they place unreasonable limits or make other modifications and corruptions(such as when they depend on props for magick, when magick is merely using your mind powers). Satanism is about ancient Paganism, and it's about empowering ourselves spiritually using that "wishy washy" stuff as you claim, and the Gods are merely to guide us for this and teach us more knowledge. It's not about depending on Satan all the time, but applying his knowledge (like power meditations, kundalini yoga, magick) to empower our souls and improve our lives. These techniques are the foundation of SS, and it's also ignorant to dismiss them without trying them at all. Satanism is about empowering and elevating humanity.

BTW, that's also what the site is talking about. It says that power meditation is the most important thing in SS and the main point is advancing ourselves spiritually. Look more carefully at the site, in fact there's an entire section on power meditations, and magick, and Runes and other Spiritual knowledge. Even the Satanic symbols symbolize important spiritual knowledge having to do with raising the kundalini and reaching Godhood.

As I said, the same thing we discuss here are on the site, and not only that, but are the most important things in Spiritual Satanism. Like I said and the above quote says as well, Satanism is NOT about depending on Satan, but Satan is mostly the bringer of knowledge who brings us spiritual and magickal knowledge and expects us to use it to improve our lives. That's the reason we mostly establish a relationship with him, to further guide us and give us more knowledge. We wouldn't be different than xianity if we were to depend on him and not use magick. Magick is Satanic, actually wiccans don't practice black magick at all, they believe in some stupid made-up law and "karma", they are fluffy bunnies. Satanists unlike wiccans do practice black magick or better called "justice magick" to punish our enemies and those who wrong us and bring justice.
