Greetings. I've been reading your main site, joyofsatan.org, and while what I've read thus far sounds very appealing to me I cannot help but question most of it. Namely my chief concern here is that there are absolutely no citations and references. Whenever I find an interesting mention of some demon or deity I have nothing further to work with but what the site itself provides. The information is often very scant - some of these deities have fairly interesting backgrounds but the site provides no means to research it further, leaving it up to the reader to do all the work if they want to know more. This may not exactly be a bad thing but it does make me question the credibility of the articles. As my High School English teacher used to remark in our essays 'How do you know?'.
Another thing that bothered me was the demonisation of angelic beings. Let me be clear here, I dislike all Abrahamic religions. I also understand that when you use the word 'demon' what you are referring to are the spirits worshiped by our pagan ancestors rather than the evil spirits of the New Testament, and I can understand that, despite the fact that Christianity has perverted the original word to mean something 'evil'. However, how can angels be 'bad guys'? That part I don't get. It's like you're deliberately trying to set people up against Christianity. Are we talking about malicious spirits that manifest themselves as angels because they fancy the idea of Abrahamic religions and thus perpetrate their existence among mankind? Or is it all a matter of perception and the words we've agreed to use? What if I wanted to see demons as angels and angels as demons?
