This meditation involves the ingwaz and gebo rune. The heart chakra is governed by both.
This meditation is preferably done on Fridays(day of Venus), during the hour of Venus. Venus governs the heart chakra and renders the best results.
To begin, tune into the heart chakra and feel it. Once in tune with the heart chakra, feel it absorbing energy. The sun also governs the heart chakra, and is an ideal source to drain energy from. If you are meditating at night, and can not see the sun, it still can be drained from. Distance is an illusion, visualizing the sun in front of you and feeling your heart chakra sucking energy from it works even if the sun isn't visible. The heart chakra consists of the elements fire and air. Absorbing energy from the sun and the Earth's top wings are ideal sources. Although, absorbing brilliant white-gold, or green energy suffices just fine. Even the moon would do.
While tuning into your heart chakra, and feeling it absorb energy, you are going to be vibrating runes. The first rune to be vibrated is the ingwaz rune. Picture this rune over the heart chakra, but DO NOT align you heart chakra like the ingwaz rune. While absorbing energy, feel the energy being stored in the heart chakra while vibrating the ingwaz rune.
I recommend keeping track of the number of vibrations applied to the heart chakra with the ingwaz rune, and applying the same number to the vibrations done with the gebo rune.
Next is vibrating the heart chakra with the gebo rune. The heart chakra's alignment looks like double x's: "xx." Picture this alignment and vibrate gebo. Continue to absorb energy as the vibrations are being done. Visualize the heart chakra, and the "xx" alignment a brilliant and vibrant green that is growing brighter with each vibration.
What this Meditation does
The Heart chakra is in the center of the soul. There are 7 main chakras. The 3 top chakras are masculine, while the 3 bottom chakras are feminine. The center chakra, the heart chakra is both masculine and feminine. Femininity is receptive, while masculinity is projective. The heart chakra stores the energy that is directed to it by the other chakras, but it also projects energy and regulates the energy of the soul. This is balance, and a soul in harmony is a soul in balance.
The ingwaz rune stores energy, gebo projects energy. That is why the two runes govern the heart chakra, because it stores AND projects energy. Starting off the meditation by absorbing energy, and storing energy in it helps empower the heart chakra. Using gebo helps further empower the heart chakra and its natural attributes.
