Hi Silent one, there are a lot of technicalities involved with death. There is a part of the mind which is 'programmed' (for want of a better word) by any number of factors to forget (not remember) or discard (reject/block out) soul/astral experiences. Astrally we can do magick things with 'time' (a man made theory). Being dead (technically) for minutes could be handled by the astral soul as total freedom lasting eons or as a few seconds (relatively speaking) of insecure first steps. Both experiences might not be remembered (rejected) by the earth bound mind or memory retention parts of the (awake) brain. I'm sure others could answer you much better, but this is my way of trying to put across my limited understanding of things to answer your question.   Hail true Gods.
