@ Andrew Alcide: while I cannot help you with the first and with the second question, I would like to answer the last one: well, perhaps you can, but I wonder how can you be sure you will make it till you will be older? you might die tomorrow, or in 70 years time, but you do not know it, SO if you are certain about your dedication why wait?? There must be a safe way to do so, like wait till you alone at home, or go somewhere safe, like park or forest maybe?

I do not believe scented candles would be a problem. Black ones are preferred, but they are hard to come
by. What is in your heart is what counts. If not black, then dark blue or red. But if you can't get any of
those, then any candle will do, as long as you are truly sincere.

As long as they smell good.

I'm not sure about the selection in dollar stores, but as long as they are plain and not in a glass container with the filthy jesus or mother mary on it, you should be fine.You could also try Tibetan stores, where they sell clothing, incense, etc.If all fails, try Yankee Candle, lol. Bath and Body Works may have candles too, as does Walmart and Target.

I used a dark pink candle with a pleasant fragrance at my dedication.As HP Pythia said, "It's what's in your heart that counts".But I've also read on the 'joy of Satan' website; you get back what you put in at a ritual.I'm from Australia, we've got candles at most hardware and department stores. Hi, I am new, and from Santo Domingo my question is: When I did my dedication, the candles was in a clear glass containers,  did I do it wrong? And what happens with candles in glass, did father Satan and our demons dont likes them?
