Dedication ritual during the day

Is it ok to do the dedication ritual during the day?it doesn't say anything about that on the JoS

Because the JoS doesn't say anything about that, it means it doesn't matter at what time you do that. I don't really know how you or others come up with the false assumption that you have to do it during the night alone. Nobody said or even insinuated anything like that.
