Conscious Use of Black Magic

Greetings, Dear Family in Zefs!

Black Magic:

I am writing this post because I’ve noticed that some Zevists do not use black magic entirely correctly or fairly.

I would like to start by saying that not every person you dislike deserves to be cursed, and not every mistake someone makes should drive you to place a hex on them.

After all, if the Gods operated with that same logic, how many of us would even be here?

If the Gods punished us for our every mistake, how righteous and Divine would that truly be?

Now remember: what did Father Kronos promise us? "I will make you Gods!"

But how can we become Gods if we think like small children who are ready to ruin someone's life over simple human mistakes?

We must always remember that we are not merely ordinary people, but the People of the Gods, and we must be above destroying someone’s life over trivial matters.

For example, if someone bothers you or tries to force themselves upon you, instead of cursing them, you can simply bind them using the ISA rune 6 times alongside an affirmation like: "Person X is completely bound and cannot harm me in any area of my life, under conditions and manifestations that are favorable and safe for me." After vibrating the runes, visualize the person who is troubling you becoming bound in chains, unable to cause you harm.

Naturally, there are also situations that demand a serious response. For instance, if someone truly threatens your life, the lives of your loved ones, or attempts to cause you severe harm in some other way, then sending a curse would be justified, because ignoring injustice is itself an injustice.

We have been given power, and with that power, we must take responsibility and use it in accordance with the laws of Ma'at.

Black magic should not be a tool of blind attack and hatred, but rather a sensible instrument for self-defense and reasonable offense against enemies when the situation demands it.

Always remember that creation is valued higher than destruction; building a structure might take 5 years, whereas destroying it takes only a single day at most.

Everything must be in Harmony.

Additionally, one of the most underrated practices is reversing curses. When you perform a curse return, you not only cleanse yourself of the curses directed at you, but you also send them back to their sender. Thus, if a hex cast against you was particularly potent, the sender dooms themselves to their own curse, while you remain clean and expend far less energy.
