Just wondering if there is an easy way to tell how open or active the chakras are. Except the third eye/6th chakra which with the seeing auras and stuff should be pretty easy to tell how active it is. I Have been doing the full chakra meditation for a little bit now and do feel a little healthier, but not much, and wondering if you just feel how active they are or something.

Just start by opening your chakras, don't try to rush things up... Things need time.Open your chakras in the exact order it's written on the site (first your third eye, then the crown etc).

Just start by opening your chakras, don't try to rush things up... Things need time.Open your chakras in the exact order it's written on the site (first your third eye, then the crown etc).

I know this doesn't apply to some chakras such as hip chakras/hand chakras, but I just want to make sure I haven't been spinning them/aligning them wrong since I've started meditating... The main chakras are all in the center of the body, however all of them except for the Crown Chakra have front and back extensions. You can see the Diagram in the JoS site. The back extensions and the front extensions are all aligned point-in.

Okay, so they are in the center of the body. I understand that mostly. But, when it comes to the 6th purple chakra, and the crown chakra the 7th, one is located on top of the head, and the final one is located on the forehead. So, would I spin the purple one downwards from the top of my head, as indicative of its position, and the blue one in the middle of my head downwards?
As you can see, I am rather confused lol..

@descipleofthegods13: There's no confusion really because nobody said that the 3rd eye in your forehead is your 6th chakra. It's only the front extension of the 6th chakra and all front and back extensions are aligned point-in. The main chakras are always in the center of the body and are aligned normally. The indigo 6th chakra is located in the middle of the brain and the violet crown chakra on the top of the head. Not the other way round.

@inlovewithsatan: Yes, the base chakra has both a front and a back extension. The only chakra that doesn't have any extensions is the crown chakra. See again the JoS diagram I posted:
