Hail Father Satan! my GD is Haagenti(Bastet) and my cat used to be a terror, lol, when i started letting him be around me when i talk to my GD and burn some insense, and light her candle, he would just sit there and stare. he is now one of the calmest cats i know and loves to be right at my feet when i meditate. just saying,ask Bastet for help and i am sure all will be well.

Cats are so territorial & as you mentioned, that's usually the root of the problem, with many noisy spats making life miserable for both felines and humans.
We have three in a small space (large condo, but small space cat-wise). One is an elderly female, age 14, who has always been grumpy; that's just her. There is a younger very tiny, delicately built female, age 9, who is very and neurotic (was a rescue) and a huge, 15-lb. male, age 5, who is frienly & and full of life & who can't figure out why the girls don't want to "play".
But somehow it seems to work out reasonably well. The sounds of "battle royal" can be very off-putting (especially in the middle of the night! LOL) but no one gets hurt; it's all noise and the occasional boxed ear.
We were all new once & there's nothing wrong with asking for help. When we're new, we just ask a little more often than we do later on when we've learned more and progressed. Bastet might have some suggestions, who knows ... Cats have a special place to Satan who considers all animals important.

ps. lol why do we have two hands? so we can pet more than one cat.
