hey brothers an sisters in satan,
I hope you don,t mind me asking a question that I have found is impossible to research.
I have been a satanist for about 3 yrs now,originally following anton,s church,an more lately spritual satanism.
b prior to that I studied an practiced magick for many many years,at that time,my peace only really came when i studied buddism,and while working in thailand was lucky enough to be trained by some very enlightened monks.
since my return to magick and satanism,have found that there is perhaps a parodox in it,because in order to do magick you have to generate great desire and 'craving",but father satan,s goal for us is to achieve "god head"which in essence is the same as enlightment?,but that type of spritual enlighment is ONLY achieved when you let go of desire,and realize all is illusionary?which, given the nature of western consumerist
society,and it,s permanent selling of .."when you get this when you get that,all will be well,thus enslaving u to the machine,and perpetually working towards a day that never comes.makes ALOT of sense.
spoken to the father alot about this,and he seems to be saying ..yes it is o.k.to learn from that,the compassion,the letting go,because in essence once you complete a ritual it becomes so more powerful if you can "let it go".
just would love to know what my fellow brothers an sisters think about this?,is buddism somehow inherently linked with satanism,because of it, desire to achieve, "god head",or should we throw the baby out with the bath water and start all over again?.please do e.mail me at mikemuschamp@...,would really really apreciate any help on this,as it is proving to be a bit of a stumbling block...thanks alot
