Again, clarifying- the predictive examples about the trines and sextiles was in reply to the question below concerning the planet Saturn. Jupiter trines and sextiles are normally fortunate, unless there is a load of bad planetary energies and then, the jupiter can be a protection from total disaster in most cases. Pluto trines and sextiles to natal planets in prediction 99% of the time, WILL manifest in major life altering EVENTS in one way or another, and the other 1% of the time in psychological changes by themselves. Like I already stated- look to the nature of the planet.

Nearly every astrology book will rave how beneficial a jupiter/venus [both benefic planets] is. Unfortunately, this is not so. I knew a man who had Sagittarius rising [jupiter chart ruler] and his jupiter was tightly conjunct venus on his descendant [more powerful on the angle], with Taurus [ruled by venus] on the cusp of his sixth house of health. Any time the chart ruler is in aspect to the ruler of the sixth house and/or planets in the sixth [the tighter the aspect in orb, the more pronounced the influence], there WILL be life long health problems in relation to the sign on the sixth
and/or planets therein.
Well, this man, as a very young child accidentally drank some cleaning solution which scarred his throat severaly [taurus/venus rules the throat], and had life long health problems because of this. This is what I mean, when I say you can't take what is on the astrology books and teachings based upon the cookie cutter crap. One must read and study with discretion and sadly, astrology is one of the most advanced and difficult [BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE] to learn.

I have read and did research on many aspects to the planets and so forth. Like the case of hard Saturn transits bring disasters. Does harmonious aspects like trine and sextiles of both kinds tend to be malefic with Saturn too?
