Is is possible to perform magic on the astral realm? Also, if it is possible how efficient is it, can you perform both white and black magic on the astral? Just wondering, there's really not too much info on the astral on the JOS website, no offense.

You've misunderstood it.
All the magic happens through the Astral.
Those who are proficient at White/Black magic, are much more advanced beings. Their soul is actually more radiant in the Astral. All magic comes from the Astral first, before it manifest in the Physical realm.
