Hail my brothers and sisters,
The past several nights I have been preforming the Ascending Energy Meditation but with a slight variation. The meditation instructs to direct and expand the 8th chakra, above the 7th and then let the energy flood over each side. However, I direct the sexual energy to my seventh. As the energy flows on each a side, I see blue color to my left and red to my right when my eyes are shut. I am mostly convinced these are the un-intertwined Ida and Pingala channels being strengthened.
Since I have great difficulty locating the 8th chakra, and thus substitute it with my seventh- Am I "missing out" on anything? Does my alteration have any legitimate difference from the original?
