Are Nordic Gods *our* Gods?

I'm sorry if this question is dumb.
I've been talking with someone about Spiritual Satanism (despite their brainwashing, they seem intrigued) and she asked me whether Demons had anything to do with the Nordic Gods because someone she knows likes this religion (with the Nordic Gods) and she asked me whether there was a connection... I have no idea of Norse Mythology so I really don't know what to tell her. Can someone enlighten me?
