Are chakras located in the ASTRAL body?

Hello.I just wish to make sure about this, before telling someone else about it.

I've read this link: http://www.angelfire.com/empire/serpent ... hakras.htmbut it is really not mentioned anywhere.
I understand *where* chakras are (along the spine, to the front etc etc) but... are they in the *physical body* (just not visible to us) or are they in our astral body?
If I'm not mistaken I remember some High Priest or High Priestess mentioning that people who have passed away, their spirits/souls do not have "chakras", as they need a physical body for that, and so they can not advance spiritually in that way.

Do I remember correctly?Are our chakras in the astral, but connected only to our physical bodies?

I can tell you of my own experience... They can definitely be felt in the physical body!
I believe they are in both. Hope this helps.
