Apothis?

Just wached the last few minutes of a show about ancient Egyptians beleif about the journey to the afterlife,
and a few names jumped at me first, Apothis. They said he was the demon of chaos.
I was wondering if anyone knew anything more about Apothis, I don't remember his name on jos and I had a strange reaction to his name.

And second, is Ra another name for Enki
or are is Ra just a different god?

Hail Father Satan! i do not know about Apothis, but i just finished reading the Lost Book of Enki and Marduk, 1st son of Enki born on Earth, was later called Ra and then later added amon, thus Amon Ra-- known as egyptian sun god.

I believe that Father Enki is called Ptah in the Egyptian pantheon.

Oh ok thanks.
But I'm even more confused about apothis because what I found says that he was Ra's brother but he was an enormous evil serpent

If you mean "Apophis", I've wondered about him too. This is just my theory on Apep (I still need to talk to the Gods about it); In "Enuma Elish" Marduk aka Amon Ra and Tiamat get into a dispute and Tiamat creates beings to destroy Amon Ra, although Amon slays Tiamat. To me Apophis was one of Tiamats' sons looking for revenge, for the death of his mother.

But you see that where you begin to see the contradiction with the two information sources. In the LBOE, it says that Ra was the son of Enki, while in wikipedia says that Ra was self created. I believe the LBOE to be more closer to the truth than wikipedia.   We studied about Tutankhamun in school, but is he assoiciated with satanism?
