I want to start learning astrology soon. My guardian is pretty bad ass in astrology, so I think he will help me if I ask them. Still though, any advice for someone who is just starting in astrology?

Yes, I have a few suggestions of books that are good. First, it is HARD to find good astrology books, but these few I have really learned from:
"The Astrologer's Handbook" by Frances Sakoian and Louis S. Acker
"Instant Horoscope Reader" by Julia Lupton Skalka
"Aspects In Astrology" by Sue Tompkins
"The Only Way To Learn Astrology, Vol. 1" by March & McEvers
"The Ultimate Astrologer" by Nicholas Campion
"The New Astrology" by Martin Seymour-Smith
That ought to get you started....some are harder than others but I like that, it makes you learn more...good luck.
