Advice on runes and obelisk

I am making an obelisk out of clay for my alter. I plan on carving runes into it. I plan on using Sowilo (to enhance the power of other runes used) and either Fehu (to send, if I am using that correctly) or Uruz (transfer of energies). I would possibly use Inwas (to store energies) and Ehwas (to bind the energies of the runes together). I would like to have your opinions and advice is most certainly welcome.
