Advice on how to begin.

Hello

As of right now, I am completely new to all of Satanism. I have just read the "main" page on templeofzeus.org and am very interested in "joining". I would just like some help with where to begin, what to read, what to do first, then second, third etc.

Last year I did read some "occult" teachings about mentative currents, thought-force and such from William Walker Atkinson. The stuff fascinated me but I never pursued the study seriously. I abandoned it for more "practical" things like meditation and self-help and self-actualization knowledge. Anyway, I AM open to these kinds of things (the occult).

I deal with a ton of internal chaos daily, and it is starting to become overwhelming. I have been trying for a year to get over all of this, I have learned a lot of things and practices but none of them have helped much except meditation. Meditation has helped me become more clear on what my issues actually are.

I am agnostic/atheist but have often thought about how beneficial it would be to believe in a "god" to give me internal strength and power. I am hoping that satanism is what I'm looking for, especially since satanism seems to embrace and encourage science. But, be honest with me, is all of this stuff actually scientific? I do not mind if it is or isn't at this point, I'd just like to know.

Anyway, Is appreciate any and all advice on how to start. Thank you.

Perform the Dedication Ritual when you feel ready. Especially, do not post any pictures of yourself. If people know you are a Satanist they will not hire you for a job, fire you if you have one, kick you out of the house if you are underage, or attack you outright.
