Is bloodlust/bloodthirst normal? A friend said it was, and that he experiences it often especially when angered... but I'm just not sure about that.

We are violent people by nature. + 10 respect to whoever gets the reference :)

The strange thing is, he never strikes out against anybody. Says it's sort of like an addiction, a strange energy-like feeling I guess.

Maybe your friend is a jew ha. :pSeriously though, humans are not violent by nature... or so I see it. It is entirely normal to get angry etc etc etc, but to actually want to kill people...? No, that's not right. Eh, unless we're talking about jews. :D (but they don't count as humans sooooo :p)

Guys who say such things are often just idiots trying to excuse their own lack of anger control.

Well what was stated earlier in the topic was tl;dr friend is bloodthirsty, though in addition I asked him to describe it to me since he's curious as to peoples' thoughts (he's a FB friend.)

"It feels like pure violence coursing through my veins, inhabiting my mind, and every nerve in my body. Sometimes I double over in pain... I want it to stop, yet at the same time I did not. It feels euphoric, exhilarating, yet at the same time... frightening. As if it's a second mind invading my own, yet at the same time feels like my own mind; the energy is chaotic and very strong."

*shrug*
