a serious questiopn about the dedication (somewhat urgent)

i am completly unable to find a way to do the dedication without my parents finding out or siblings, ive heard it can be done in an astral temple my question is alot of people have told me it is downright dangerous to go into the power meditations and all of the stuff to get to the point of being able to astral project without doing a dedication. i really want to do it i really have commited myself in my heart i just can't do the actual ritual at the time can someone give me some advice?
