A Serious Question

Hi, all.

I tried posting this before but for some reason it didn't go through.

I'm back again after having not been able to be online again. Hopefully
I'm back for good now. Before I ask my question I just want to say that
I am wanting to perform the dedication ritual, however the only shop I
can think of going to to buy a candle for the dedication seems to have
disappeared; I mentioned it to someone else who lives elsewhere and he
said he'd buy one - which he already has, a black one as per my choice -
and he'd send it to me, so I'm just waiting for that now. Actually it's
a good thing that this particular shop I thought of has gone because I
going in there asking for a candle and what-knot wouldn't seem right
given the clothes I wear. It's all fashion BS - I don't do fashion. I
might look similar to a type of sub-culture group, but I don't do
fashion; I wear the clothes I have, but I still don't wear the "correct"
clothes for going in such a shop. I hate stereotyping...

Anyway, my question seems rather silly, but I would like a serious
response from you. It's about a quote from a film that someone - let's
call him Billy - said to me a couple of years ago. A bit about him: I
don't know precisely what his faith is, but I believe it to be something
similar to Satanism if not actually Satanism, because he told me about
certain things that he does such as mead, alchemy, and what someone like
I would call "potions"; drinking blood in college for something or
other; having done something for a Christian person or two who asked him
for help, etc. - He is not a Christian, it seams. He also mentioned or
indirectly mentioned magic and said it's dark, not evil, but dark,
telling me that you could cause someone to have cancer if you really
wanted to, which I assume would be for vengeance/punishment. I asked him
what you could do and he said you could see what someone had for
breakfast if you really wanted to. He seems to prefer the nighttime than
daytime and he asked a question I felt quite encouraged or rather forced
to agree with, that the nighttime seems better. My answer wasn't
completely untrue, however.
I am quite certain that once I sarcastically said to him something about
damning Satan, then sarcastically adding, "Oh, sorry!", to which I think
he took offence and said to not say such a thing, or something.
I once asked him why he told me about such things and he said something
along the lines of that he had compassion on me.
If you can remember the fake Christian smile thread, it was actually
"Billy" who mentioned to me about a particular individual always smiling
and seeming down or whatever.
I also asked him how would I go about cleverly telling people about the
things he told me, and he replied, "If you are clever, you wouldn't". I
don't know if he meant, "You wouldn't", however.
I said he didn't seem to be a Christian. He told me he was Catholic
which of course I assumed he meant Catholic Christian, and of course he
knew I thought that. I consider that to be rather dishonest. He also
said I must tell him 3 of my skills or things I am good at, to which I
told him I don't have any skills and I'm not good at anything. He became
impatient and said to not "force his hand". There were a good number of
times we argued, but I think that was mostly because I am rubbish
socially and also due to religious clashes. He finally deleted/blocked
me. I think there is a bit more about him which I can't remember now.

The film quote he mentioned to me which I didn't realise at the time is
from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, where Quirrel, with
Voldemort on the back of his head as a "mere parasite" said, "There is
no good and evil. Only power, and those too weak to seek it." Having
grown up as an Atheist, then "finding god" in school during my teens, I
have a concept of "right" and "wrong". I, however, have decided since
then something which has become one of my personal philosophies, which
is, "Sometimes you have to sin to survive". So now I am not certain if
"right" and "wrong" actually exist. I would, however, expect a form of
justice or...if not equality, then a type of level fairness in Satanism.
"You hurt me, I will exact revenge on you." That would especially hold
true personally for my children (if I had any); I wouldn't be
responsible for my actions for protecting my babies. But even if anyone
who replies says the quote is not in a correct Satanism context, albeit
an integral part of the Harry Potter film series, would I be right in
saying that diversity is good? Because what works for you might not
necessarily work for me, so I would do things my own way. Yes?

I would like your Satanist opinions both about the quote from the
Philosopher's Stone film mostly, and if you'd like then your opinions
about "Billy" and if he sounds like a Satanist or not.

Thanks.

Bump.

Anyone? I usually wouldn't ask, but I'm interested to know what others think; to see if anyone thinks similarly to me or not.

Well Bro, I shall just put it this way: Lord Voldemort was right. Lol.
I am a huge Harry Potter fan, the books especially. But nonetheless, I
do think that particular statement of his to be the truth. The Dark
lord may be a bastard in many ways, but the man has his valid points.
Heh. Put another way: good and evil are human concepts, and our Gods,
being that they are, of course, Gods, are beyond them and have no use
for such. Not to say that they do not have their own standards of
ethics, because of course they do, but they are none of them 'good' or
'evil' in that sense, if you take my meaning. I will say something I
always say when asked about if Satan is evil or not: Lord satan, for
he is the true lord of this Earth, goes way beyond the mortal, human
concepts of good and evil. Indeed, he transcends those concepts. He is
neither good nor evil; he just is.

Oh, and I doubt that person you were talking with really is an Zevism,
though you may have thought to be. He strikes me as being a goth, or
something to that effect. Clearly, he revels in the darker things of
life. Don't get me wrong; this is not, in itself, a bad thing. Indeed,
I know several dark pagans and goth types of people, and they are very
nice. But this particular individual seemed to be lying to you, not
telling you all of the truth concerning himself, but then expecting
you to divulge certain personal truths regarding yourself. Seems he is
not respecting of free will, because he seemed to coerce people into
doing things; Zevism is all about free will. I'm probably preaching to the
choir, as it were, about this, but I just thought I'd mention it
anyways. All in all, I'd say it's good you were blocked by him. Good
riddance, I say! Hail Father Satan always! Hail Lord Andras! Hail
Sorath, the one who burns!

Cool. Well, cool, thanks! The best way I can try and describe things is with examples, so if I might seem immature and saying things like, "Harry Potter exercises awesome magic and magical skills!", just bear with me!

I also forgot to mention about "Billy" that he said he was into numerology and I asked him to "do mine" for me but he didn't. When in college, or during the time he was in college, I am quite certain he said he drank blood as part of a ritual. Oh, here's something I just remembered: more than once I told him I can be quite gullible sometimes. For example I think it would be really cool if having a wand you could cast a spell and have pretty sparks fly out of it and do something you desire, and ask if it could be done in Zevism. - I don't want to say that, however, because it's silly. But then at the same time, with more knowledge that we're always striving for, perhaps in time and Zevism one could effect such a cool performance (but that's me exercising wishful thinking again!).

Another thing about "Billy" is that he said under one of the country's National Parks there is a building or area where people similar to him congregate. He invited me to join him in something, but I didn't go and I don't know precisely what it was. He also mentioned about certain ritual things, for example drawing blood as part of a ritual for a purpose. He said he wanted me to know this, not only because he allegedly had compassion on me, but also because people in his family are apathetic about it and don't care about it and he needs it to - or it needs to - continue. Lastly, and I think this is the actual last thing, I can't be 100% certain but I think he implied that he has had at least 1 past life and has come back again in this one... Apparently reincarnation seems to be a real thing.

said I must tell him 3 of my skills or things I am good at, to which I
told him I don't have any skills and I'm not good at anything. He became
impatient and said to not "force his hand".

Thanks.
