I think the situation is more on how you feel about yourself and what your ideal weight is. Do you feel uncomfortable or overweight? Underweight? Do you feel that you will be comfortable with a toned body?The DV of calorie intake is just an average and of course it varies.
I have seen women who have a little more fat on their bodies and this gives them a curvy and "feminine" look. Women had more body fat on them in the past. This is natural. These women are inaccurately labeled in the plus size range or "overweight" according to so called health experts. At the same time they promote being unhealthily thin. HP Maxine has mentioned this in the past, it also promotes sterility in women.
The standard of weight types and sizes change.
You are a male and for your height, it seems okay. Just eat when you are hungry and go with what your body desires. I am not sure about eating less as one advances. If I am not mistaken, someone mentioned eating more after a meditation session. I think advancing and transforming yourself has different effects.
When I was new in satanism, I once tried to do vegetarianism, it was not too difficult but one day after a good Hatha Yoga session, while feeling out my energy buzz, I got this craving for red meat. Beef. Then at that point, I realized vegetarianism wasn't for me and wasn't what my body felt was right.
So, in essence, just go with the flow and be free.
As for drinking water, it varies. It is very important to stay hydrated but drinking too much water obviously is a bad thing. It dilutes the stomach acid and so when I do drink water or any other liquids I do not drink too close to a meal. The stomach acid is needed to fully digest food. Diluted stomach acid causes problems with digestion.
I just drink when I am thirsty and some extra. When you pay attention to your body, it will give signs on what it needs. Of course during very hot weather or when I am sick, I up the ante on fluids just to have a good reserve.
