Other #78193 Is it bad to be self-centered? Limit to it?
It changes depending on how you define it, but you may encounter situations that require you to think about yourself or others. All you have to do is to think about this and decide who should be at the "centre" of that situation. But always set a limit!
Maybe you can give an example so that we can understand the situation more.

Of course, you must have borders that no one can cross. But that does not mean you should be a selfish person. Neither do not let anyone ream you, nor do you ream anyone.

All you need is yourself, to meditate, and to heal your soul. The key to greatness is already in there. You don't need to be anyone else, but your own self. Live your life, exist and advance. Do your most beautiful work on your soul and life now.
If you want to climb in life, you will have to engage life and not complain about the rules.

You can prioritise yourself without neglecting others, and establish an appropriate balance.

Greetings!
We are responsible for what we have done with our lives - before our own selves first and foremost. And then before the universe. (Doing nothing when needed here is also doing something).
So we will be held accountable for it. First and foremost by our own selves. This includes Saturn transit etc. that is known as fate. Because fate is part of the self too. That very part that usually holds people accountable for everything.
Being self-centered and neglecting the well-being of others will very probably sooner or later invite the same attitude of fate which might be felt as very cruel and callous.
The example of it might be described here:
The Zevist knows there is "someone" out there for them, but for many people out there? Nobody really. They have in many cases earned this by not engaging in the path and the Gods. Or building proper relations; which are also a part of this in material life.
Building proper relations is a process opposite to being self-centered because it is about being other-centered, race-centered, motherland-centered, humanity-centered etc. Somebody-else-than-yourself centered. Bad people usually recollect that this part of life also exists only when they themselves needs something of their other, race, motherland and humanity.

Being self-centered isn't bad on principle.
If you go out of your way to put others down to prop yourself up, sure, that's bad. But we all know this, and "selflessness" is promoted so much nowadays that I don't feel it needs to be reinforced.
If you need to be more empathetic or kind or whatever, the people around you will let you know, in which case it's less a matter of morals that fall from the sky, and moreso a matter of cohabitation. Do what makes things go smoothly.
If you feel you might need it just for internal reasons, ask the Gods, and they will put you in situations that teach you to be less self centered in a safe way if it's needed.
