I get why we are Zevists now. I don't get why we had to start out as Satanists, when the ToZ, JoS at the time was founded, Paganism was practiced and allowed at least in the west and far less discriminated against than Satanism. I guess it just would make more sense in my mind if we had started out like this to begin with. Probably would've had a lot less edge lords around here too back in the day. Rambling aside I am very curious as to why Satanism was our starting point.

I think Ol Argedco made a very salient point, part of it was so that we as an assembly would be thoroughly deprogrammed and disconnected from abrahamic lies, it was a way for the Gods to ensure the foundational pillars of our community would not allow corruption to take place by drawing a line in the sand.
Now the doors are more fully swung open to allow the rest of the world in after making sure our own house is in order and ready for such a thing.
