Astrology #77518 two planets in same sign = conjunction?

can it be treated as a conjunction even if it is not actually conjunct. thats what one of these vedic videos said

and that if the conjunction takes place in two different signs it doesn't count becoz they both have different lords/rulers/dipositors or whatever
 
For planets to be conjunct, they have to be within 10 degrees of each other, if I recall correctly. I think that if the planets being in different signs somehow cancelled out conjunctions it would most likely be mentioned on Astro Apollo or ToZ. If you are looking to learn astrology, I recommend reading the links below. I'm inexperienced but have found them to be much more accurate than most resources. I used to think astrology was nonsense due to the amount of "information" floating around on the internet.
