I grew up in a toxic, unsafe, and conflict-ridden family environment. My parents were often hurtful and inconsistent towards each other and towards me. As a result, I never had a healthy adult figure to trust or look up to. I had to learn ethical values, correct behaviors, and emotions on my own by questioning them, because there was a severe inconsistency between the behaviors and emotions of the people around me.
Today, I still struggle to understand and express my emotions. My feelings don’t reflect on my face; instead, they manifest in my body and react. I frequently experience allergic reactions and stress-related illnesses. However, with meditation and the guidance of my priestess, I am trying to slowly but deeply heal this process.
Considering all that I’ve been through—my family’s toxicity, illnesses, and emotional turmoil—do you think this could be a family karma? Or is it just a result of my individual traumas and environmental effects?
Saturn's placement in my 6th house in my birth chart suggests that this might be connected to karma. Still, if this were family karma, shouldn’t I carry the other distorted traits of my family as well?
Because the other members of my family have similar hard placements and aspects in their charts, they exhibit many similar behaviors. But I do not have the same traits. In fact, the only challenging placement in my birth chart is Saturn.
