"This energy of Venus has given me ethereal and other-worldly beauty".

Is it bad or inefficient for improving my skin/hair issues?

With the visualisation and will/intent I imagine everything is perfect according to my ideal's.

This energy of Venus has given me ethereal and other-worldly beauty

Hmm personally I was planning a Venus Square for a similar reason, however, the statement changed in that:
1) I was establishing that this worked in a positive way for me.
2) I was not interested in a generic, standard concept of beauty, but in enhancing MY personal beauty.

Also it is subjective, but when I was setting the quantity, I used clearer terms. What does "other worldly" mean? Will you be turned into a beautiful corrupted being? What should a beauty-other-worldly look like? Is there really a planet of super-beauties in some galaxy?

Is it bad or inefficient for improving my skin/hair issues?

I would recommend something specific for something specific. Saying you have a beauty of an ultraplanetary species may not improve your hair any more than building an aura of protection or liberation with Munka will set all the Torahs in the world on fire.

Venus can work in two ways, it can either improve the beauty on a mind/personality level or/and on the physical beauty , which one do you want more? If it's the beauty of the body that you're looking then you should go for the material venus square instead and an affirmation which would be good is :

Venus' energies always beautify me in the most beautiful and positive ways for me. I am always very attractive and beautiful in the most beneficial ways for me.

By other-worldly and ethereal I meant to look like our beautiful God's.

To gain a semblance of their elegance and beauty.

Where people see me, and are in awe.

To become "beyond normal" standards of beauty, into something unattainable by normal human mean's.

The end result of the square, however I will look, should give me that feeling or bring me closer to it.

If this is my intention, is it okay to leave it as is? Or is it still inefficient?

"ethereal and other-worldly"

And that's true, but it's one thing to have something written down to make you understand a concept, and it's another thing to have the concreteness of something.

I associate it with that type of Old Hollywood beauty, glits and glamour, with the heavenly lighting etc.

I assumed the God's all have a beautiful energy when one is in their presence, to have something of that effect as well.

Correct. You can be specific. If you understand what you mean by the affirmation you chose, that's fine then. Because your mind understands by having you a definition in mind. You don't even need to be too specific with too long affirmations, just add things like “positively” or “forever” in the affirmations. Already these two words define many concepts.
