#75548 Do we "inherit" traits from our GD?

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

Is it possible whoever your GD is you're blessed by their traits to an extent? For example, Astarte and beauty, who is my GD.

My skin and love life are totally fk'd, but I have a very heavy Earth and Venusian emphasis in my soul.

When I recently started trying to improve my skin, the result's are almost alway's immediate. Something that would take weeks to begin to see results happens for me within 1-3 days.

So I was wondering, do we "inherit" the trait's of our GD to a certain extent?

you might share similar personality traits, but that is not a given with everyone's Guardian. they're fit to guide you in whichever way is necessary but that does not always mean you will be alike. someone who is maybe too aloof might be better off with a Guardian who is on a stricter side, for example (They know it the best, so this isnt necessarily always the case)
you also might pick up some characteristics, as some tend to do when they look up to someone, but not much more.
as for physical aspects, what you're describing isnt a spontaneous change without any trigger. if you asked her to help you with your skin, or if you've been struggling with it for a bit, she could've very well helped you out with that, its not unheard of.
but i think its more likely its gotten better due to your efforts/her help, not purely the fact she might be your GD

Arem here gave a great response.
It is usually not a productive thing to try to assume what your Guardian is. In a case like Lady Astarte, She is one of the highest Gods, and the higher Gods work with less, more specific cases of advanced individuals.

Here is one way to see it: treat the concept of your Guardian Demon similar to an ancient initiate of an ancient mystery school within the early phases of their initiation.
You will learn about what God your GD is when you are at a point where you can productively use that information.
For now, you can simply consider your GD as "your GD", no names or identities. Early on within one's initiation, they would be exposed to concepts where this was an "inner voice" that gave one guidance. This is obviously not literally the case, as your GD is a being, but the "inner" here is an allegory.
This was, like anything else, taught in layers. Similarly to how negative numbers, or fractional numbers do still exist when you are a child, but you are first taught math without them, so there can be a foundation and a "pyramid".

You can absorb knowledge from him.
And also some personality traits, if you identify with them too much.

You wanted to associate the improvement of your skin with the qualities of Venus, which would theoretically mean having good skin.

This doesn't necessarily mean that you are absorbing exact or relative characteristics of the god in question.

Perhaps you have other examples that could confirm what you're saying for yourself.
It's good to see if they actually make sense.

If you are talking about physical traits many people have said I look very similar to the God in my profile, this could be related to how close you are to your GD.

Hello Otto, I appreciate your effort's to write this response.

I've already confirmed who my GD is, she revealed herself quite early-on. I was just wondering whether or not this was a thing typically experienced by other's.
